A Walk Through Lymington
by Edward King
Originally published in 1972, this 1990 revised and reprinted edition of A Walk Through Lymington gives a valuable insight into Lymington's past from its first mention in the Domesday Book to the late 20th century. The book deals with all aspects of the town, from its governance, salt production, and travel to its many inns. Edward King includes some of his own reminiscences of the town, and ends with a short history of his family's well known bookshop, King's of Lymington, now sadly no longer in business.
